Meet Ameca – the creepy humanoid robot that's giving us serious Terminator vibes!
The Daily Star tasked me with creating a social media video featuring Ameca, the eerily lifelike robot dreamed up by Cornish tech boffins Engineered Arts. First unleashed on the public at CES 2022 in Las Vegas, this futuristic marvel boasts uncannily human facial expressions, grey rubber skin and a genderless appearance. Is it a glimpse into our robot-powered future or the beginning of the machines taking over? Either way, it's enough to make your toaster look suspicious.
